Many thanks to all of you who supported the first Lower School House football match on Tuesday afternoon. The captain of the winning Olympians team, Johnny Meadows, has written a match report:
Titans kicked off the match with a through ball to Elliot Whittingham which was intercepted by Tom Dale. Throughout the first half the Titans were not able to penetrate the Olympians' defence and stop their attacks. At half time it was 5-0 to the Olympians with star players Jack Tooley and Henry Foster both scoring.
The Olympians made some subs and started the 2nd half with great confidence but after 5 minutes Billy Sayers got the Titans back in the game and another 2 goals from Christian Miller and Elliot Whittingham making it 5-3. The Olympians were panicking and put on 3 players to secure their win. In the last 5 minutes the Olympians managed to score 3 goals, scored by Henry Foster, Jack Tooley & myself.
The final score was 8-3 to the Olympians!
