The Lower School took a morning off lessons on Wednesday to take part in a Master Chef challenge organised by Mrs Hallam.
The boys were split into 5 groups and set the challenge of producing a menu of: Pitta Bread and dip, Spaghetti Bolognese and Fruit kebabs for dessert. The groups headed off in the direction of various member's of staff's kitchens to produce e their culinary masterpieces.
The completed dishes, along with menus and table decorations were presented in the Great Hall for the three judges; Mr Davies, the Catering Manager Mr Beaumont and Mr Cane-Hardy. Each of the groups produced outstanding dishes and all the boys involved had a brilliant time, it was a fantastic way to spend the morning.
However, there had to be a winner(s) and the top three groups were:

1= Rick Stein's
1= Rick Stein's
3) Gordon Ramsey's
Well done to all the boys and a big thank you to all the staff involved.
